What is the difference between the different address types?

There are three address types:

• Location Address
  • This is the street address or official location of your organization. It appears on your store and donation page to help supporters know they are supporting the organization they intend on supporting. Some organizations have similar or identical names and can only be distinguished by their address.
• General Mailing Address
  • This is the address where mail should be sent, for example, when supporters want to mail your organization a product from your store.
• Donation Mailing Address
  • This is the address where donations in the form of checks would be mailed. Credit card payments would typically be sent by direct deposit by our Platform Charity. Occasionally, organizations need to receive donations at a specific address that differs from their other addresses.
